What industries can benefit from AVIX Resource Balance?

Any manufacturing/process industry that either assembles products or has a manual process with a need for showing and working with line balancing data (Yamazumi charts). It can be a classic line scenario with X stations staffed with one operator/station, or more complex set-ups with multiple operators working together. In the latter case, the logic of the work sequence can be added, for example, assembling brake discs before assembling the wheels. This type of logic between process steps also makes AVIX Resource Balance useful in creating man-machine (GANTT) charts.

How does AVIX Resource Balance handle multiple product variants?

AVIX Resource Balance has built-in features for creating and balancing unique variants/product configurations, showing how different customer options affect the cycle time and line balance. The product specifications/configurations can be imported or created directly in AVIX and can use AND, OR, and NOT operators to automatically create a work sequence based on the configuration of the product.

Yes, AVIX Resource Balance, like the rest of the AVIX Suite, is developed in-house, which means we have full flexibility in its development.
